Word choice is never a convincing issue. While I recognize that yes,
someone, somewhere may stumble across one of my little rants on FoRK, chock
full of interesting verbage and god-knows-what as a subject matter, I'm
pretty comfortable with it. Language, ideas and thoughts are part of who
you are. If you become too scared that someone will stumble across your
thoughts online and hold it against you

a) You're far too paranoid/self-centered and worried
b) You hang out with really prudish folks who offend entirely too easily
or
c) You're a tad bit gullible. While FoRK can be an impression-gauge, I
really have a hard time in believing that one single FoRK post (or hell, a
series of FoRK posts) will automatically destroy you as a person.

I dig the concept of permanent (or near permanent) archiving. WHen I go
ego-surfing, I tend to find all sorts of tidbits that I otherwise forgot I
wrote. Bits when I was 16 and curious about shakespeare, past gaming
systems I've been memorialized on, and just random spoutings and blogs from
the present. Its my equivalent to a diary, and I can set the flow of
personal versus general bits.

Fuck yeah.

(That's for the word snobs)
