So anyway, doing an interview, standard thing, meet 4 people total etc...
Normal up until we started talking...
The company is basicly one big distributed database, but databases,
distributed systems, performance methods, nor networking were ever mentioned
once.
They wouldn't tell me anything about what I would be doing.
The interviewers wouldnt tell me what they did at the company, only projects
they did years ago.
They didn't ask what I had designed in the past, or how I design things.
d.net and my other past jobs were only asked about once and briefly.
They did make me do sorting and linked list (like i've used one of
those since someone showed me btrees) problems, and other "big grey
algorithms book" type stuff.
...
So, did the "interview" change or something while I wasn't looking?
I'm still rather confused... but probably better off not working there.
